Volunteers possibilities

If you would like to volunteer for our productions as an actor, director, producer or any other of the many jobs that make up theatre do contact us. Although Soulfire Theatre is aimed at a particular community it does not exclude anybody from working as volunteers to support the realisation of the performance. In fact, Soulfire Theatre believes the community benefits from interacting with people from different cultures and places, professionally and artistically. All its productions have to date involved people from all over the world, working with the Bangladeshi British community. It learns from others and they learn from the community. It's about sharing and giving to each other and the world.

Actor wanted

Soulfire Theatre is a dynamic, upcoming theatre company based in Whitechapel, London. We are in the process of developing a new piece of work centred on paranoia surrounding the arrival of new immigrants to the UK. We are looking for an actor of Bangladeshi origin that could play mid 20s. The play will be in English. This is unpaid work, only involving a few hours a week for the moment, usually in the evenings or weekends. We hope to show this highly original and relevant work in a local theatre.
